The temptation to give up is always...at the back of my head and occasionally (actually quite constantly) strikes.
It has been an arduous and pressurizing week and I'm trying to keep my head above water. But how I wish I can just...yawn, shut down and hibernate.
If I quit law, I'll graduate this year. Sounds like a plan...

Venice Masked Carnival
In chilly February, the city cheers itself with a reminder that spring is also on the way. Naturally, it does this by donning glittering masks and tricon hats, playing a medieval version of football in period costumes and filling the canals with decorated gondolas.
Carnevale dates back to the 13th century but it peaked in the 18th century - when the masks were supposed to encourage equality, but really allowed the decadent aristocrats to reach even greater heights of depravity.
Today, the pricey Grand Masked Ball is a reminder of the days when the nobility danced the quadrille, but the labyrinth streets and canals are heaving with all sorts of free fun.
